Lombok’s quaint west side is characterized by many independent small bays separated by hills. They form many beautiful beaches, which becomes a perfect setup for tropical resorts.
Without doubt, Jeeva Klui is my favorite pick.
I’ve had more than 10 previous stays at Jeeva Klui. I love this resort very much. She looks very beautiful, bringing the perfect vibe of being tribal and rustic. However, it’s the people who made this place. Everyone at Jeeva is very attentive, full of smile, and is always sincere in trying to give their best.
Its price point, at the range of ~150usd / night, is truly a steal when you consider their service level, which is the best you can expect in this area of Lombok.
Upon swift check in process, I was escorted to the beachfront suite. This is my favorite room in Jeeva.
The entrance is wonderful; a perfect front porch with sofa overlooking flat grass land, beach and the peaceful ocean ahead.
Inside, very spacious room with big beds and simple yet beautiful brown tiles, furnished in traditional yet comfortable touch. At the back, a generous changing area with outdoor shower is very nice.
Below is a video taken from my stay there.
Jeeva Klui is facing west. This means epic sunset view directly from your porch, or from their nice beachfront restaurant. During this stay, I chose the latter.
And what a show nature put up on that day. Golden yellow sky, followed by orange purple sky with clear view of the distant Mt. Agung in Bali.
Remember my comment about the excellent staffs and service? Well, I did not even need to tell them, but there I was, with a surprise cake. They knew it was my birthday even if I didn’t tell anyone in advance.
In the Sasak language, Jeeva translates as “soul”. In both materials and manners, Jeeva truly reflects the “soul” of Indonesia and its local community, a soul full of warmth and comfort. This is why you’ll love Jeeva.
